Why are we carrying out this survey...
We know that many students and young people experience and witness bullying. This survey will enable GRIN Campaign to be able to analyse the experiences of 11-19 year-olds in school and college. It will proved the data that will enable us to develop strategies to try and combat bullying, as well as provide us with information that can be used in enhancing our campaign.

What is this survey about...
This survey is about experiences of in school and college. It addresses whether or not your school has helped you, how it has dealt with bullying and what you feel could be done to combat bullying and discrimination. There are a few questions addressing your feelings and emotions, there are some about the sort of school or college you are at, and there are some demographic questions about you.

Who can take part...
Anyone can take part as long as they are currently attending school or college or have recently left and are between the ages of 11 and 19. Please feel free to tell your school and friends about the survey and encourage them to fill it out.

Will anyone know that I’ve take part...
No one will know if you’ve filled out our online survey. We do not ask for any information that could be used to identify you. We will never know your name, address, or your contact details. All the answers that you give us will remain confidential and anonymous.

How do I take part...
The survey is fairly short and quick to complete. The more questions that you answer, the more we will know. Most of the questions are multiple choice and allow you to tick a box to answer. Others will provide you with a box to enter any information that you wish to provide us with. Make sure that you include the answers that you feel that it is important for us to know.
If possible, we ask you to fill out and answer all of the questions, but if there are a few that you would prefer not to answer then you do not have to. If you decide to take part and then change your mind, you can just stop and we will not have access to the information that you have provided unless you click to submit.

Are there any risks...
There may be some questions that ask you to draw on past experiences that you found upsetting or difficult. Please visit our help page if you need, or speak to a trained professional. If you or anyone that you know may be at risk of suicide please seek help immediately.
